Breast Augmentation surgery (also known as breast enlargement, implants or uplift) is an ever popular operation, producing excellent results and benefits including: increased breast size, fuller shape, reduced droopiness, improved symmetry and boosts confidence and self-esteem. For women who feel that their breasts are out of proportion, or that age or breastfeeding have caused them to shrink or lose their shape, breast augmentation surgery may be the answer.
If you thinking about getting breast augmentation surgery it can be helpful to see pictures of your consultant’s previous patients both before and after surgery. Below is a collection of photos of Mr Griffiths’s recent patients…
After having two children and following rigorous gym training, this patient felt her breasts had decreased in size and dropped down. As her breast skin was very loose a two stage approach was taken to first lift her breasts and tighten the skin. After 3 months, with the sizing kit in clinic, a definitive implant size was decided on (200cc) and placed over the muscle using the existing scars. The mild asymmetry was also dealt with.
This lady’s breasts had dropped after breast feeding. They were uplifted and enlarged with 300cc round implants in one stage. For the tummy tuck (full abdominoplasty), there was a gap of 6cm between the vertical muscles (divarication) so these were plicated and returned to the midline before excising excess loose skin.
